About Us

the loyo company

our story

Hi, I’m Justine and until last year I was a full time teacher at a prestigious high school in the UK. Tired of taking orders from others I decided to take the plunge and pursue my passion for skincare by launching The Loyo Company because, as Confucius said, “Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life!” For me this isn’t work, it’s something much more stimulating, it’s an ethos I live by. My aim is to bring you a fresh perspective on beauty and a renewed lust for life.

My message is simple and it applies to everyone; nobody is perfect, but everyone is beautiful. All it takes is a little confidence and maybe some fabulous products for your face ;-) The Loyo Company is all about empowering people to be the best version of themselves they can be and not someone else’s unattainable idea of beautiful.

So, let’s not beat ourselves up because it’s easy to be a holy vegan yogi when you live on a mountain top, but we’re real people with ordinary lives and everyday stresses. It’s OK to let go once a while, eat pizza and cake, enjoy a glass or two of wine, let your hair down and dance. Just look after yourself and be kind to your body, love yourself and the skin you’re in, moisturize daily, always wear sunscreen, take the stairs, and drink plenty of water... But don’t forget to enjoy life.

Take the time to stop and and smell the roses, look around you and appreciate the small stuff because that’s what makes us smile and our day better. We’re surrounded by beauty; you can see it everywhere from a freckled face, or a cloudless blue sky, to the pattern in the froth of your morning cappuccino. It’s the kick you get wearing those new shoes or the confidence boost from trying a new shade of lipstick.

At The Loyo Company we want to turn that appreciation inwards; look inside yourself, accept your flaws, all your beautiful imperfections, and Love Yourself.
